We started this site because the printer guidance online was broken — generic, outdated, and written by people who'd clearly never actually fixed a printer. We decided to do it properly.
The story is straightforward. Three people who work with printers daily — testing, repairing, and troubleshooting — got fed up with the quality of printer advice available online. Most guides were copy-pasted from manufacturer documentation. Many fixes were flat-out wrong. The reviews were often sponsored placements masquerading as objective assessments.
So we built printproblems.online to be the thing we always wanted to find: a site where every piece of guidance is written by someone who's actually verified it works, every review is conducted with hardware we purchased ourselves, and there's no advertising agenda shaping what we say.
We don't accept sponsored content. We don't have affiliate deals that influence our reviews. When we recommend something, it's because it genuinely performed well in testing — not because someone paid for the placement.
Every printer we review is bought from standard retail channels at full price. Testing runs over weeks, not days. We print high volumes, stress-test edge cases, and track reliability over time. If a fault surfaces three months in, we update the review to reflect that — our recommendations stay accurate, not just current at time of publication.
For fix guides, we replicate the problem on real hardware before writing a single word. We don't publish a solution until we've confirmed it works — then we document every step, including the things that almost worked but didn't.
We're not affiliated with any printer manufacturer. We're not a reseller. We don't run ads. We're not a support line, and we can't diagnose individual printer faults through our contact form — but our guides cover the vast majority of issues people encounter, and the error lookup tool is a good starting point if you're stuck.
